In Switzerland, a new fact sheet on DAB+ radio has been created for car manufacturers as the country prepares to move away from FM.
The WorldDAB fact sheet provides a comprehensive perspective on the DAB+ market in Switzerland, created to improve in-car reception of DAB services. Furthermore, it is the first fact sheet of its kind and is aimed at both broadcasters and car manufacturers.
The sheet was produced in the framework of the Automotive Working Group, in partnership with DIGIMIG and RadioDNS.
The publication will precede WorldDAB Automotive 2022, the annual event that brings together leading experts from the digital radio and automotive manufacturing industries. The conference will take place on June 22 in London but will also be available online.
The new Swiss DAB+ Network Fact Sheet provides an essential guide for the automotive industry. It aims to raise awareness of the services available today through DAB+, from local transmitters to audiences. The fact sheet details the current status of Swiss transmitters, points to future developments and provides information on the next steps to be taken
