"Ensemble pour le DAB+" launches campaign.
At the Assises de la radio, the "Ensemble pour le DAB+" association announced the forthcoming launch of its first communications campaign aimed at the general public. The launch marks the official launch of the association, created to promote the development of DAB+ at both national and local level.

A forum for exchange and action, the Association is open to all players concerned by this technology. "Ensemble pour le DAB+" brings together a large number of radio players, including public radio stations such as France Inter, France Culture, France Musique, France Info, France Bleu, Mouv' and FIP; private radio stations such as NRJ, Chérie FM, Rire et Chansons, Nostalgie, Europe 1, Europe 2, RFM, RTL, RTL2, Fun Radio, RMC, BFM Business, BFM Radio, AirZen Radio, OUI FM, Latina, Chante France, Radio FG, Sud Radio and TSF Jazz; representative bodies such as Bureau de la Radio and SIRTI; and broadcast operators such as Towercast and TDF. The Association is chaired by Radio France, with SIRTI acting as secretary and Bureau de la Radio as treasurer.

The actions carried out by the association are in line with the guidelines determined by Arcom in 2018 for the rollout of DAB+ in France, presenting DAB+ in a logic of complementarity vis-à-vis FM, around, in particular, the so-called "arcs and nodes" strategy, and the launch of a national offering alongside a local and regional offering. Communications on DAB+ will respect other radio standards, broadcast technologies and offerings, notably FM.

"The launch of campaigns to raise awareness of DAB+ among the general public is essential to guarantee the adoption of this new broadcasting technology. To support the visibility of these operations, the association has received initial funding from the French Ministry of Culture, supplemented by significant commitments from its members."
