This milestone in Bosnia-Herzegovina's radio history was preceded by extensive preparatory work. On June 12 and 13, the Hungarian media regulator NMHH hosted the final meeting of a working group of media regulatory and frequency planning institutions from seven Eastern European countries in Budapest, with the solemn signing of an agreement on the use of DAB+ frequencies in the common frequency planning area. Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Romania took part in the working group. This was preceded by four years of intensive frequency planning work, which began in October 2019 in Vienna.
