A new DAB+ multiplex in Saxony Germany

In Saxony, new private radio stations will soon be available.

Listeners will enjoy an even wider choice on DAB+ digital radio from the beginning of April. According to information shared by teltarif.de, network operator Media Broadcast will launch a new DAB+ multiplex on 3 April 2023.

In the last few days, various test broadcasts have been made from different areas of Saxony.

Up to 11 additional stations can be heard, which have received approval from the Saxon Media Authority (SLM). These include 89.0 RTL, which is already broadcast in Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, Oldie Antenne, the children's station Radio Teddy, Bavaria's Radio Galaxy, the Berlin stations Schlager Radio and Jam FM, and Femotion Radio, SecondRadio, detektor.fm and Radio Ostrock.
