The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy has defined the guidelines for the allocation of network usage rights in local catchment areas to DAB+ operators.
The approval of the "Provisional National Plan for the assignment of frequencies in VHF band - III for the DAB+ digital broadcasting service (PNAF-DAB)", created the necessary precondition for the Ministry to proceed with the issuance of the rights of use on the networks provided by Agcom.
In addition to the final guidelines on the criteria and procedures that will be adopted to proceed with the allocation of rights of use to operators of local networks for the service of terrestrial broadcasting in digital technology, it was also published the document containing the summary of the contributions of the participants in the national public consultation, carried out on the version of the guidelines published on 13/12/2022, together with the assessments of the Ministry.
