La Fête de la radio.
Roch-Olivier Maistre, President of ARCOM, initiated the idea of a major radio festival in 2020. The aim was to enable the French and all radio stations in mainland France and overseas to celebrate this medium of the heart, which is part of everyone's daily lives. The next edition will take place on June 15 and 16, 2023.
The third edition of the Fête de la Radio will take place on June 15 and 16, 2023, throughout France and French overseas departments and territories. For two days, radio stations and listeners will be able to celebrate this medium, discovering all its facets, from broadcast to reception, whether analog or digital, live or recorded. This celebration will offer listeners the opportunity to take part in open houses, exhibitions, games, concerts and special on-air events, and to find out more about all the different ways of listening to radio. FM, DAB+, RadioPlayer, Streaming, Podcasts... on a car radio, hi-fi system, connected speakers, walkman, cell phone, at work, on the move or at home.
This year, the Fête de la Radio 2023 is being decentralized and regionalized throughout France and in French overseas departments and territories. It is also aimed at younger audiences, through regional CLEMIs. The new board of the Fête de la Radio association now includes professional organizations such as SIRTI, CNRA and SNRL, enabling the event to be more widely distributed and have a greater impact in all regions of France and French overseas departments and territories.
Fête de la Radio 2023 promises to be a memorable celebration of the medium of the heart, offering a platform to discover, appreciate and celebrate the diversity and richness of radio in France and beyond.
