Mallorca Radio Group becomes the first local radio station in the Balearic Islands to adopt DAB technology. The transition to this technology represents a major advance in the way listeners on the islands perceive radio reception, offering exceptional audio quality and a wider variety of programming. On the occasion of this groundbreaking event, Mallorca Radio Group is calling on the islands' institutions to join it in this new era of broadcasting in the Balearic Islands. This breakthrough is possible thanks to the invaluable collaboration of telecommunications operator AXIÓN. The commitment and expertise of the audiovisual and telecommunications service provider are crucial to the realization of this unprecedented initiative, which marks an important step towards the future of broadcasting in this Autonomous Community.
The collaboration with SIXT Spain, a high-end mobility provider, was also fundamental. As an essential collaborator in the Mallorca Radio Group initiative, the SIXT car rental company in Mallorca now offers presets for Das Inselradio Mallorca, Das Inselradio Mallorca Classics, Mallorca Sunshine Radio and Mallorca Sunshine Summer Hits, the stations of the Mallorca Radio Group. This will enable users to enjoy a high-quality radio experience while driving.
